‘Easter Steam Festival’ and the ‘Steam & Wood Gala’ Weekends

The ATT runs two special events throughout the year. The Steam Festival, held over the Easter long weekend, and the Steam and Wood Gala weekend, on the second Sunday in October, is the ATT’s opportunity to showcase a magnificent range of oil and fuel fired engines.

These displays are complimented by the woodturning magic of the Eildon & District Woodturner’s Guild. The Alexandra Timber Tramway adds to the engine displays with steam train rides and parades a vast range of steam and conventional powered engines and rolling stock that will take you back to the turn of the twentieth century.
