Brrr! It’s getting chilly at night, but the hot news is that our next opening day is Sunday 26th May. Come and ride on a heritage train, tour the museum exhibits and explore our lovely late autumn gardens and grounds. We’ll run our 1936 Kelly and Lewis diesel which was only the second diesel loco ever built in Victoria. She’s a gorgeous machine and trundles elegantly round our track all day with trainloads of thrilled passengers.

The timetable page has the current schedule. Sometimes our opening days change or fire restrictions affect us. Always check this site or ring our enquiry line before visiting in case there are unavoidable changes to our plans.

If you’re a member / volunteer, we’d love to see you on Saturday May 25th when we have a working bee to do a variety of interesting tasks around the site.

And don’t forget to put our Heritage Machinery Festival in your diary for October 5th and 6th. We’ll have a range of heritage machines that you can get up close and personal with, plus the opportunity to talk to their owners and operators. It will be a massive weekend for all the family.
